Tees Valley innovation challenge programme

Purpose

A summative assessment of the Tees Valley Combined Authority-funded Tees Valley Innovation Challenge programme on behalf of Edge Innovation and Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria.  

Solution

The assessment of the programme included understanding the objectives, methodology and targets as set out in the business case. A review of on-programme data collection was undertaken, including customer feedback and quantitative outputs in order to complete a cost-benefit, value for money and overall assessment of the programme.   

Impact

The completion of an independent economic impact assessment report for Edge Innovation and Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria illustrating a short-term uplift of 115% GVA to the Tees Valley economy.
